Todd's Reviews are usually pretty advanced-he mainly focuses on high end mechanical mods (or their cheap Chinese knock offs as a side by side), rba's, wick and coil tutorials, etc. It's a real treat to have someone like him take you through the basics, and I think you'll find the information invaluable. The video is nearly an hour long-I know, you don't have time for that shit, right? If you can invest about 60 minutes of your busy day (even 15 minutes at a time, for Christ's sake-it's on YouTube-you can pause the damn thing and walk away), you won't be sorry. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, he talks funny-he's a Scotsman.
Another GIANT in the e-cig culure is GrimmGreen. Nick is an awesome dude. He answers all of his viewer's questions- he has a SHITLOAD of them, and can probably monetize his channel, but he refuses to do so, because he feels like it would go against his moral grain, since he has a true passion for the e-cig world and everything about it, and he remains a "skeptical yet optanustuc "voice for those of us that vape, and gives it to you straight, with no b.s., and he's usually right on with his advice. Here's a great video for those of us that are looking to take the next step in vaping. Most of you I've spoken with are ready to take that next step and move on from your Twissts, Spinners, Winders, or whatever "stick" pv you are currently using to vape.
Now, I started with an Ego Twist, and I still own and use them quite often. In fact, I always carry at least one with me. Those of you that know me know that I am into this vaping shit on a practically comedic level-I've got a problem when it comes to buying things vape related. I'm always waiting for SOMETHING in the mail, and even though I shouldn't be doing it, I'm still ordering crap. Regardless, I want to take a second and say that all you will EVER need to vape with is an Ego Twist or something similar, a charger, a decent cartomizer/clearomizer tank-I'm ALL about the Kanger ProTank these days (I have 4. Fuckin' 4 of them. And more replacement coils than I am aware of. I blame three things. My impulsive nature, the fact that I have memorized nmy debit card number, and Ambien. I swear to Christ that half the shit I receive was ordered after I went to sleep. I wake up in the middle of the night sometimes, and the next day I find order confirmations in my inbox that I have no recollection of having placed an order.
What can I say? It's a hobby for me now, but those 25 dollar batteries, a decent tank system, and some juice I enjoyed got me off cigarettes. I love them, and I will always recommend anybody wanting to vape get a simple setup like that to start off with. They are great, reliable, inexpensive batteries, and I use them all the time. Sometimes, carrying a tube mod with you isn't convenient. Sometimes the "Robot Cock" doesn't suit the occasion. I've always got a Twist ready. Even the most advanced vaper will usually have one or two of these batteries in their stash.
For those of us looking to step up from this nearly perfect system and see what the world of vaping has to offer, this is a great video to turn you on to the rest of the options. Mind you, this video was made a few months ago, and the world of e-cigs has grown tenfold. Still, I watch GrimmGreen's videos religiously, every Sunday. He's a cool guy, and he's helped me out a LOT personally. And we're Facebook buddys. We chat and stuff.
That's enough for today. I'm going to start posting more regularly, from a more personal point of view. I started this blog for a few of my friends who were all getting into e-cigs at the same time and coming to me with questions. I figured what better way to consolidate all the info they were seeking so it could be easily accessible, so they could all be pointed in the right direction.
And I don't think one of you fuckers has even looked at this goddamn blog!
Fuckers.
